Synopsis

“Jaz” is a film about encounters and farewells, endings and new beginnings. Without dialogue, “Jaz” presents death as an inexorable limit. Immersed in his grief, a middle-aged man engages in the ritual of his longing and, in an unlikely situation, encounters a young musician in a state of abandonment. Music drives the narrative, and the meeting offers the hope of a brief but joyful relationship. The film is an ode to essential love, a legacy of memory, dreams, and silent poetry. In “Jaz,” life is brief but enough.
