Synopsis

On New Year’s Eve, a broke and restless young man is drawn into a risky encounter with a hustler’s client at a hotel. After being assaulted, scammed, and left without help from the hotel staff, the young man must confront the consequences of his choices.

Director Biography – Wayne Burns 

Wayne Burns (he/him) is a Toronto-based actor, producer, director, writer, and host. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada’s Acting Program, he is a two-time Theatre Nova Scotia Award winner and an ACTRA Award nominee. He was named a “Breakthrough Artist” by NOW Magazine for his contributions to Toronto’s cultural fabric.

His films have been supported by the National Film Board of Canada, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Toronto Arts Council and distributed through OUTtv and CBC.
