 Director Statement

This film portrays the amazing and sometimes scary transition from childhood to puberty trough the life of Max and Bastian, two transgender tweens. I wanted to hand the microphone to the protagonists and let them tell their perspective on gender. Questioning your gender takes real courage and there are many wonderful ways to be a boy, a girl or in between.
