Synopsis

Your whole life can change in just minutes.

When Hailey and Jordan’s friends push them into a game of spin the bottle, they have no idea that their worlds are about to turn upside down. What is said to be a pivotal moment in each teenager’s life turns into a momentous occasion for these two lovebirds.

Written and directed by Hannah Madgett and Shawn Ryan and shot beautifully by Jay Bungay, “Seven Minutes” was shot entirely at the Young Actors’ Theatre Camp during the annual Film Camp. CampYATC.com

Director Statement

From Co-Writer and Director, Hannah Madgett:
I wrote this film as a love letter to my teenage self.

One of my best friends came out to me during a party in high school. I so badly wanted to say I felt the same way sometimes and reassure her that she wasn’t alone, but I didn’t know how.

This film will always be special to me because it was the first time I saw the silly words from my journal come to life on screen. Getting to co-direct this film was the cherry on top of an amazing learning experience for me.
